Sommerville Park is an upscale condominium in the heart of Singapore; with more than 450 units.
The Management’s biggest frustration was not being able to communicate to the Residents via emails/circulars. Facility scheduling/operations was just too all consuming. No organized tracking and closing of feedback.
The Residents are a multinational mix and the facility usage is key to their lives. The two tennis courts are in high demand and so is the function hall. The squash courts and BBQ pits needed scheduling too.
The Residents would each walk a minimum of 200m to make a booking slip which needed to be shown to the Security guard to open the facility. Residents were never sure about when a tennis court was available till you walked over or called the Management Office. Last minute cancellations were rife and no shows went unheeded.
A lot of the Management’s time was spent in managing the bookings with the House Rules and the payment deposits. Obviously other important aspects of their jobs took a back seat.
Residents download FRIDAY.LIFE from Global App stores and are now managing their schedules from their living rooms. Residents can view the status of each facility on the go. Last min cancellations are snapped up by “delighted” waitlisted residents. Legacy Systems are still ON - Residents can still walk or call the management office to book.
Scheduling is all Automatic. No supervision.
7000 bookings since March with all House Rules in place. Not more paperwork, no more trudging 200m!!
Broadcasts can be composed and sent within minutes - targeted to groups of residents; by tower or blocks.
Reports of usage and members give insights about utilization.
Residents are more informed and more productive.
The Management has no need to oversee scheduling. It is all automatic.
